Barnes Jewelers, Inc. was founded by Doyce G. Barnes, Jr. in May 1980. With less than 1000sq.ft. location and three employees Barnes Jewelers focused on building trusting relationships with each customer which in turn produced loyal clientele. After one expansion in October 1982 and a relocation in June 1984, Barnes Jewelers moved into their own building on Eastgate Dr. in May 1988. Today, Barnes Jewelers continues to operate under the leadership of Doyce’s son, Stephen, with eleven employees in a luxurious 6,700sq.ft.
