Our Community

Barnes Jewelers is very active in the community. We just teamed up with The American Cancer Society and donated a $10,000, 1 carat diamond. We raffled it off at Relay for life, May 13th 2005. One Hundred percent of the proceeds went to further the cure for cancer and we are proud to say that was over $10,000.

Betty Jo Smith was the night’s winner of the 1 carat diamond and she was very grateful and excited.

	Our Graduate Gemologist, Stephen Barnes, has spoken to several groups across Wayne County. The list of groups includes local schools and civic groups as well as educating and mentoring other jewelers in Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO).
	Barnes Jewelers gives back to the community with various donations as well.
